THE CELLULIKE SYSTEM

Cellulike is a wireless system for your phone to backup and restore. It is designed to copy all contact details stored in your phone so you can never lose this information.

In addition, all but a few of the phones published on our Approved Phones list also allow backup of photos and video, and some are also compatible with our Remote Lock / Unlock function. These additional functions are not part of our obligation to you, but are offered free of charge and without obligation.

Finally, the system is designed to detect the unique serial number of your phone. This will allow your phone service provider to lock your phone. Usually phones blocked in this way can not be used, even if the SIM card is changed.

You can see your backups at any time, and for most phones, send copies of photos and videos to friends. If your phone is lost or stolen, then it is very easy to restore all the information to your new phone. Our service is easy to use and requires no cables or other equipment.

Our charge is for the life of your mobile phone. Whether you use only system backup and restore contacts and other features, it’s all based on your preference and the capabilities of your mobile phone.

The Cellulike™ system has been tested and approved for a large number of phones. To view the current list, which is continually updated, please click on the Approved Phones list. If the phone is not on the Approved list it does not mean that is not compatible. To find out, please click the Check Service Form and fill in the details, we’ll do a check of the service and keep you informed. Note that if your phone is not on the Approved list, or we have no information that this phone is compatible, then it means the device cannot work with our system and in this case there would not be any refund.

BACKING UP YOUR CONTACTS, VIDEOS & PICTURES.

1. Each time you want to make a backup, open the Application and click "Backup Contacts". If the phone is one among the majority which can also back up photos and videos, in this case, you will get the option to back up contacts, photos or videos or all three. We recommend using the backup function at least every 30 days. Our system can detect if the backup is used less frequently and in this case can be programmed to send a reminder via email.

2. Remember. If your phone has the function to backup photos, you can take pictures of important documents, passport, insurance docs etc, and upload the photos to your account for safe storage, (simply click "Backup Pictures" if it is available on your phone). For example, if you lose your passport and have previously uploaded a copy of it from your phone securely, then you can log into your account, print a copy of your lost passport and take it to the consulate. This means the new passport can be issued in a couple of hours instead of a few days. However, once you have uploaded image copies from your phone to your storage area, it would be best to delete it immediately from your phone, so that if it is stolen, the thief can not access this information. In fact, it’s probably best to do this with all sensitive information.

3. You can always log on your account and print, copy, forward or delete contacts and / or photos and / or videos.

4. Uploaded information from your phone camera is kept in our vault until you connect to your account and delete it. You have enough space to securely store many uploads of your pictures, and they are never deleted without your permission. Each time you upload, the complete upload is stored in the vault. The most recent information will be downloaded to a new phone, unless you want to download an older version.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN NOT LOAD THE PROGRAM OR IT DOES NOT WORK?

1. In the unlikely event that your phone does not accept the service (despite having given a valid Activation code), please first verify that the phone is in our Approved list and if so, please refer to the Welcome e-mail you have received along with the user manual. If this does not solve the problem, please contact support on the website, with your name and contact details, date of purchase, the Activation code, make and model your mobile phone and nature of the problem that has been found, with the error code if available. Phones from our Approved list have been tested but you can always submit a Request for Verification of Service if you are unsure. If the phone is not on the Approved list, we’ll check for you - and add it to the approved list, if possible. Of course, if the phone is not on our Approved list, we can not accept any responsibility.

Sometimes there may be a glitch between the particular type of your phone and preloaded software, and our system. There are few phones, the iPhone is one of the best known, which does not let you use our service because they have a competitive service or for some other reason. It sometimes happens that the original software in your mobile is not properly installed by the manufacturer, or maybe the phone is an unauthorised clone of an approved a model, or maybe a manufacturer has introduced new security. In addition, new phones come out all the time and sometimes we have to make small changes for our program to work properly. Whatever the reason, we will strive to solve the problem if we can, and inform you.

Our terms and conditions allow us 30 days to either fix the problem or provide a report stating why we could not solve the problem. In practice, we hope to be able to resolve most issues within 24 hours.

2. Our policy is to maintain the Cellulike system cost as low as possible and it is sold "as is". For that reason we do not give a refund of the amount paid for the system. However, if we are unable to solve the problem and this is not due to inability to comply with instructions, or you can not access any part of the Cellulike system, we will provide an Activation Code for free, as well as provide an explanation, allowing you to load the program on to a compatible alternative mobile phone, at no cost.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CASE OF A LOST OR STOLEN PHONE?

1. Log in to your account with www.cellulike.com. Copy the serial number (IMEI number) of the phone, which should be kept there and call your wireless provider and inform them of what has happened. Alternatively, if you are not near a computer you can call our 24 / 7 Hotline to report the loss and get the serial (IMEI) number. Some phones also provide a function for locking / unlocking which can be accessed through your account on the website. 2. To download contacts to your new mobile phone, register your new phone in your account with the make, model and serial number. If you have a new mobile phone number, enter it in the box. You will then receive an SMS message to your phone again with our program. Press "Install" and the program will install and give instructions on how to change the options in your phone to work easily. Next, from within your account, you will need to transfer your data from the original / missing phones storage area to the new phones storage area, which is easy to do, then press "Restore" on your new phone.

3. All but a handful of authorized phones listed on the Approved list will have the option to upload contacts, photos and videos, the others will only give the option to upload contacts.

The download is a copy of the final backup made from your old phone. If desired, you can upload an initial backup and the website will show you how.

4. The fee for the service is limited to the life of the phone while you have it and is registered for each mobile phone. Therefore, if you want to download the contacts, pictures and videos to the new phone and continue the service, you must register the new mobile phone and pay the same price for this. If you do not want to do this, your information still remains in the secure vault and you can always see it, copy it or send it as email attachment. You could just copy the contacts one by one to your new phone if you prefer.

DO I HAVE UNLIMITED STORAGE?

1. Users usually have a permanent storage capacity of 1GB ! . You can always increase it by logging into your account and clicking on "increasing the storage capacity". If you are close to reaching its storage capacity, you will receive an email saying that it is nearing its storage capacity. You can then delete files or purchase additional storage capacity.
